drums lesson #8

In this lesson you'll find 8th note rest. The 8th note rest has got the same value as one 8th note. So it will take place of a 8th note when it's needed. In the next exercices we'll use the 8th note rest to cancel the 8th note that must be played on the digits, remain the "+". For the right handed player the 8th notes are played right hand on the dogits and left hand on the "+", thus the 8th note after the 8th note rest must be blayed with you're left.
