Moving around the tom-toms : some exercises to improve how you play fluently around the tom-toms.
The displacement goes this way : from snare drum to tom-tom #1 (high tom), to tom-tom #2 (mid tom) and to tom-tom #3 (low tom).
Each displacement use a beat of a measure of four beats : snare drum on the first beat, tom-tom #1 on the second beat,
tom-tom #2 on the third beat and tom-tom "3 on the fourth beat.
The feet pattern could be bass drum on each beat, hi-hat on each beat or the alternate pattern with
bass drum on beats #1 and #3 and hi-hat on beats #2 and #4 as in the recordings.
The sticking to begin is the natural sticking for 8th notes (lesson #3),
16th notes (lesson #11) and 8th note rest (lesson #8)
You can go further with variation #5 from lesson #28.
