Playing th e bass drum as a metronome

   This lesson is a revise of previous lessons and a way to practice independance on the drumset. First, have a look on the work already done. It's really important to practise all the lessons and exercices with a metronome. For snare drum exercices it's easy to use a practice pad and a metronome. But when using the drumkit it's not easy to ear the metronome, the drumkit is louder than your metronome, indeed. You must find a way to amplify the sound of the metronome, with a small guitar amp for example. Another solution could be to use your computer with an appropriate software and stereo headphones.

   The next exercices add bass drum on previous lessons. The bass drum is played as a metronome (4 strokes in bars of 4 beats). You could do that on all lessons with snare drum only: lesson #1, lesson #3, lesson #5, lesson #8 and lesson #11.
